Our purpose is to ensure for you maximum transparency as to why we need your data and how we store your data. Our Privacy Policy provides information about how Word Box Ltd. processes your personal data.

  3. What kind of information about you do we collect? At Word Box Ltd. we mostly process personal data that you, being our customer, provide voluntarily in the course of our collaborative work. For the purpose of registration and administration of any order placed by you, we need your given name, surname, phone number, and email address. For the purpose of statistical and marketing surveys, Word Box Ltd. collects information about the IP address you use when you make visits to our website. If you request us to issue an invoice to a natural person for a given service provided by us, we will need your names, Bulgarian PIN/Foreigner’s PIN, and address. If you do not provide the personal data detailed above, we will not be able to perform the services you expect from us. Word Box Ltd. does not collect any personal data, which reveal racial or ethnic origin, or exhibit political, religious or philosophical beliefs, or membership in trade unions, or any genetic and biometric data, data regarding health status, sexual life, or sexual orientation. If such data is contained in the materials you order for translation with us, Word Box Ltd. does not collect, does not set up any register for, and does not use such data in any manner other than as a source text to be translated. Word Box Ltd. does not perform any automated decision-making involving personal data.

Why do we need your data? We process your personal data for the following purposes: 4.1. processing of queries and entry into contracts for the company-provided services; 4.2 dispatch of information messages and service change messages; 4.4 accounting and statistical purposes. For the purpose of performance of our marketed services (translation, editing, legalization of documents), your personal data may be transmitted to a third party (subcontractors – translators and editors, courier companies and their staff, accounting companies and their staff). 
  5. What grounds do we process your personal data on? In order for us to process your personal data in legal compliance, there need to be valid legal grounds for such processing. We process your personal data on account of provision of translations/legalization, on the grounds of Art. 6, Para. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, specifically, based on your express consent granted as our customer, performance of Word Box Ltd.’s duties under a contract made with you; compliance with any legally stipulated duty applicable to Word Box Ltd.; for the purposes of Word Box Ltd.’s legitimate interests. 
  6. What do we do with the personal data collected? Word Box Ltd. processes your personal data via electronic means for recording and storage of information or by keeping hard copies. All soft and hard copies containing personal data are protected by way of relevant organizational and technical measures, in accordance with the requirements for prevention of accidental or intentional destruction, accidental loss, unauthorized access, modification or dissemination, and any other illegal forms of processing. Your electronic-form personal data are stored by Word Box Ltd. on limited access servers located in secured venues, whose security measures are subjected to regular audit. The servers are protected by anti-virus software, firewall, and others. Word Box Ltd. also stores your electronic-form personal data on cloud systems provided by reliable providers. On account of its follow-through of the processing of queries and orders, Word Box Ltd. may make your personal data available to third parties. These may be couriers and subcontractors performing the delivery and translation of documents. 
  7. How long do we store your personal data? We store your data for a period of three years or for three years following the end of the calendar year during which your personal data were made available to us.

What are your rights? Be informed in regards to the processing of your personal data; Request access to such data; Request correction of such data, if incorrect; Request erasure of such data; Request the blocking (limited processing) of such data; Request that we transmit your personal data to another party; Object to the processing of your personal data.
